Whew. I’ve actually been pretty busy for a guy who doesn’t have much to do. . .
Inherit the Wind is deep into rehearsals now, and it’s coming along. It’s an interesting show, although it’s definitely a snapshot from the past. Looking forward to see how people react to it.
I’ve also [...]

Whew. I was afraid I had completely fallen off the map. Here are a few updates on where my life is at right now . . .
For those who didn’t understand the jargon, I did not get the commercial. The situation seems to have likely been that they had several people that [...]

Well, after what I viewed to be a truly AWFUL performance in my call back audition, and a whole slough of signals from the director and casting people that I was dismissed summarily, I got the part.
Yup. I have now been cast to perform in my first national commercial, paid at union scale. [...]

That’s a big break in dates, between the previous post there, and this one.
I KNOW I said I was going to be building a new site, and I am. It’s been a busy summer, though, and now that we’re almost through I’m planning on taking a PHP/MySQL class this month, so I figured I’d [...]

Ah. The move is complete. We’re in and getting settled. A big thank you to everyone who helped us move! I still can’t believe we went from giving our notice to being completely moved in less than three weeks. Wow.
The move precipitated us getting rid of a lot of our [...]

I went out on an audition yesterday, which was nice. I’m hoping I get it, because it pays well for just a single day of shooting. Since I haven’t been working in a paying job, [...]

I know what you’re thinking. “I thought he was dead . . .”
So did I, actually. It’s been a crazy few weeks around these parts. Between bizarre weather, increased work responsibilities, and my wife changing her job AND moving toward production on Nunsense, I’ve had little time for anything. Things are [...]

Well, it’s been a crazy week or so since the last post. I’ve lost track of time to great extent, and in general feel a bit frazzled.
My dentist appointment went well. The filled two cavities, including a gum-line cavity towards the front which had been keeping me from smiling to big for quite [...]

The holiday season is done. I enjoy it, but I’m always glad when it’s finished. Of course, since I’m not working a normal job this year, it’s kind of hard to tell the difference.
I’ve been working with my father for the past 6 months or so, trying to get the Rim Chuck stuff [...]

In a continuation of my theory that the likelihood of getting a role is inversely proportional to how you feel your chances of getting the role are, I didn’t get this role.
I read okay, but the assistant wanted to talk with me for quite a bit after I read. They knew who I was [...]
